Well, I have and it's not something I'm very proud of. When I was 12 we had this "game" and it was to see who could starve themselves the longest and at first not a lot of people took it serriously but then some people did and it got a bit out of hand.
I became quite good at this "game", I could starve myself for over 24 hours and a couple of times I fainted or came close to it. Then I started loosing weight and the whole thing got out of hand. I became underweight and people started to notice and they were like omg omg you're anorexic omg omg you are belemic and I was like yeah, I must be anorexic. A few other people had the same problem but they hid the fact they they were anorexic.
I was never classified as an anorexic or a belemic because I was very open about not eating and I didn't hide the fact that I starved myself, also I wasn't concious about what foods I ate and if they're was a good meal I enjoyed I had no problem with eating it. I just didn't have many of the little signs of an anorexic. I was also never classified as a belemic because I NEVER binged and purged my food and I had never even experimented with belemia.
I had to stop playing this awful "game" because by this point I was underweight and the doctor had noticed I had been loosing weight at a rapid pace and he told me that if I didn't start gaining weight he'd have me admitted to the hospital where I'd have a feeding tube put in. I didn't want that. So I gained about 20 pounds back in total and that was the end of that. I still can go for long periods without eating but when I do get to eat I don't really care what it is. I guess some anorexic's have trouble eating 20-30 years after treatment. I have no trouble eating today, execpt sometimes I skip a meal or two. The doctor said it was wierd.
Have you ever tried starving yourself or making yourself throwup?
P.S. If you aren't mature enough or if you are going to be stupid about this, don't post :)

I am in year 10 now and when I was in year 9, I used to hang around with these two girls who were naturally thin. It was horrible being the 'fat one' of the group so I decided to go on a diet (this was around June 2005). But then whenever I ate anything they would be like 'are you eating that? I thought you were on a diet' and 'you know if you don't burn it off it turns to fat! Don't eat it!' so I stopped eating lunch at school.
Then in the 6 weeks holidays I went on a proper diet. I remember my dad bringing pizza and I promised I wouldn't eat any but I did so I threw it all up. Then I remember cutting down my meals more and more and exercising like crazy and its all kind of blurry after that. By the time I went into year 10 in September I was starving myself all the time.
Then I started eating more and throwing it up and I remember in October, all I would do was go to school, not eat, come home then eat and throw up all night. But I threw up so much that my body couldn't take it anymore and nothing would come up. :(
In total I've lost two stone. But I'll never be normal again.

I've starved myself, i still kind of do. I don't eat at school & when i get home the only thing i eat is my dinner. And i have to force that down.
I've only ever tried throwing up once, and that was to get off school, i've thought about eating then throwing up so people wouldn't get worried about me not eatting, but i don't think i could ever bring myself to do it again.

Nope, I've never really starved myself, but I've thought about it.. I'm only 12, and I'm about average, or about 5 pounds over average of my weight.. I don't mind being a little "bold" as I like to call myself, it gives me an advantage while fighting tall people :)

Well I take a medication now where I can go like 2 days without eating. But when I'm off it I eat like a mad man :)
I love my food to much to strave myself... and I need my energy for swimming.

It is stupid experimenting with your health, but some do it because of constant name calling about their weight, which leads to making themselfs sick, or starving themselfs for a period of time, which leads to weight loss, it can become addictive if done for longer than 2-4 months, and will become dangerously out of control.

What do you think your voice is for? Too talk =] Spoiltness, whenever my sister doesnt get what she wants, she throws a tantrume, and in the end she gets it. =[ Unfair for me.
Hmph,
Desperation to try and loose this fat 13 stone (ugh) body of mine caused me to starve myself for a week. I came close to dying of starvation and had to go to hospital.

I kinda do, I don't eat my lunch at school, and I hardly eat at home, and I only eat about half my dinner when it comes to it.
Just normal for me, I don't really want to eat.

I went through a time, when I nearlyu did it,and I tried to throw up but then I realzied, luckily, that not everyone was skinny, and that I would look far better if I stopped worrying about my body, and just accepted my not-skinny figure. So now I just eat sensibly so that I'm slowly losing a bit of weight, with basically eating normally, but cutting out chocolate and junk food, except once a day on weekends, and now I feel far better than if I had starved myslef or made myself sick, because I've told myself that I look fantastic at the wieght I am, so I do.
i used to starve myself "/ i still do a bit...
