Bob wont fix my axe ?

When i go to bob's axes i ask him to fix it but nothin happens :s

Normally, you press "Can you repair my axe?" Or just use the broken axe with him.. Make sure its not just the head is off, because if it is just use it with the stick and it will go back together.
