When you think 60's, you think swingers, partying and a new era of rock and roll.

The 90's: The simpsons, and basically the era of discovery as we explore technology to its peek.

Now lets say 50 or 100 years from now... how do you think they will see this decade? good? bad? off?

I personally think we'll be seen for video games, terrorism and the peak of depressent teens (emos, goths).

What do you think?

Mostly a generation of voilence.

Not really, there is the war in Iraq and 2400 US casualties is a lot, but not in comparison to other wars.

Probably a lack of great music. There hasent been an outbreak of a new type of music since the early 90's. HOPEFULLY the age where the dependence of oil is turned

It'll be remembered as the decade that despite individual countries had their own petty differences inside themselves but the world stood united against terrorism. Unfortunately, I think this unity will break apart soon. Europe will disagree with Britain, the U.S and Israel and countries like Iran, North Korea and China will take advantage. Dark, dark times...

No way, in England alone most crimes are commited by teenagers/youths. North London, not the most shabbiest place in London but still quite bad, I know so many people around my area who either know freinds or themselves carry a knife or can easily get a gun. You always hear of stabbings, and shootings. A popular muder case is the Damiola Talor trial, I think 2 youths are still being questioned about stabbing a black youth in the leg with broken bottles, many people in the UK will know about this.

I also know of two rampage shootings in America where youths have walked into school with a gun and shot at students and teachers.

yeah nekkle the song "i dont like mondays" was based when a girl went into a school in america and shot a few people because "she didnt like mondays" so yeah she shot students and teachers.

Things like that have always happened, but in general teens being violent has gone down a lot. Why? Because teachers/adults never really cared or taught not to be a bully. The only thing parents taught was self defence. These days, god forbid someone call someone else 'stupid' without their parents there to protect them from it.

You cant base an entire generation on a few specific cases. There have always been school shootings, but one sure thing is that kids arent getting into as much physical beating violence as before.

I'm not trying to doubt the fact but trust me, Londons pretty bad for crap like this..

Jordan3

I don't think London is that bad compared to Luton, which is much smaller in size.

NekkLe

Anywhere around London will have an affect, when you go into Wembley, Hackney, Tottenham, Woodgreen places like that are terrible for violence.

Our town is full of black immigrants that have street fights.

Those areas listed are some of the places where its population is mostly African, Jamaican. Alot of council estates around there aswell which causes alot of trouble.
