I'm working on my HabboHotel fansite, I'm going to start with a forum to get some basic ideas on how to keep the website flowing.

I'm going to set-up a V.I.P system where people can pay furniture for special access to details and goodies.

Well if you get the content right and shiz itd be great, but a forum is boring theres millions of fansites with forums try something unique ;)

Thats becasue therebasically the same, crap radio, different layouts, same content, nothing interesting.
