me n ma m8 staking whips against each other n i staked mine n lost then he staked his n lost i clicke claim then he challenged me again so i went to fight him n he asked why u not using whip n then i relaised where was it i chekced inventry and its nto there its no where just vanished now i have nothing left what the hell am i usposed to do now and where is my whip

its not a glitch its a manipulation of the jagex macromedia sun programing i posted about this awhile back. in a trade or in this case a stake your opponent or the person you are trading can put the item in the tradebox then unplug their internet and remove it quickly and plugging it back in again to make a temporary duplicate of the item tricking the macromedia sun program to thinking it is still in the trade box as it appears on your screen as soon as the transaction is completed the item is removed from your pack so ye sorry to hear not really anything you could do to prevent this :(

I wouldnt of thought he would do somet like that but he just hackedhis best mates from schools acount so i consider the chances fo him not doing that n it being a glitch pritty slim now :(

what happens is when they unplug the internet and remove it creates a temporary "ghost" item in the trade window and as soon as it is closed the ghost item disappears. funny part is so many peeps complained to jagex about it and they dont know what to do or how to fix it so ye....

So that means.... the Ghost Item is your item? So people do it in stakes, and even if they lose, the dont lose anything?

no ok lets say imthe one scamming u ok i put the item in the trade window i unplug my internet cord and remove the item then plug the cord back in. now i have the original item and a ghost item is left in the trade window as soon as the trade is complete the ghost item disappears and i still have original item plus whatever you gave me in the trade
