Forum is really slow..

Yeah we have a couple of idiots trying to DDoS us which is making the server a bit slow.
I am running something now and again which will stop them and speed it up but they will probably keep trying to do it.
Our host has been contacted and is aware of the problem and we are trying to resolve it however.

Its usually fast when I don't have too many other things open. The main time when it slows down is when I have something to do with messenger open in a window. Otherwise it usually works.

it was *****, i was on their forum watching a shoutbox. They used a program someone made which i wich will not be named

A type of denial of service attack in which an attacker uses malicious code installed on various computers to attack a single target. An attacker may use this method to have a greater effect on the target than is possible with a single attacking machine.

I gave up on habbox when it goes slow.. just kills. ^_^

Oh well. No harm done.

By sending packets of information to our server to make it slow down (or something like that)....some sad perosn has made a programme to do that to Habboxforum.
