Does anyone actually know the difference between these two words? If you get it right I might give you a prize when habbo is fixed...

Tragedy is like.. Something that HAS happend..
Tragic is what IS happening. :ithink. :eusa_thin

tragedy is a bad incident that IS the victim's own fault
tragic is a bad incident that IS NOT the victim's own fault
I think that's pretty weird

No the difference as said earlier is tradgedy is a noun and tragic is an adjective.
Example: The tsunami incident was a tradgedy!
Tradgedy is the second noun. Tsunami would be an adjective because it describes incident. Incident is a noun. And tradgedy is a noun.
Example: The tsunami incident was tragic.
Tragic describes incident. Which makes it an adjective.
Pretty easy... :rolleyes:
