British Women's Voices to Take Over The Computer Voice

Has anyone else noticed, British women's voices are used ALOT of the time on TV shows including a 'Robot Computer Voice' or whatever, or is this just me?

I have noticed this too. This is also on KIIS FM's radio station from LA, California. (I would know cuz I listen to it myself :P)

I always find a certain thing with a womens british voice all edited.

I herd it is a more pleasent thing to hear when you are relaxed... but thats may be a rumor.

Apparently, you are more likely to trust womens voices. They use them for SatNav's too. English accents are also clear and easy to understand :)
