Big Problem

Hi guys,

Ok, well. I moved school in January, and met this girl. We got on really well, and became really good friends. We told eachother secrets, but the thing is, I fancy her. I used to hate it because she'd tell me about how much she fancied this other guy, it was so depressing.

About 7 weeks ago, a boy came for a test day. It broke my heart when I found out they were going out with eachother. About 2 weeks later, she dumped him, and hated him.

Her and her friend were planning to commit suicide. She told me, and I was shocked. I cried nearly all night, and was totally committed to saving her life. I managed to save her life, she never really thanked me for it, and this made me really angry.

So about 2 months ago, I told her I fancied her. She's never said she doesn't fancy me, but sortof, dropped a few hints.

On MSN, before I told her I fancied her, she told me how she's been into drugs and alcohol, however, this didn't stop me from fancying her.

I still love her, but she fancies this other guy. We had a row tonight, and I think it's ruined my chances forever.

Please help.

You love her even though she tried to kill herself, does drugs and drinks alot?, you must love her man. Don't leave her hating you, you love her... so take this one of the chin and apollogize, and sound like you really mean it (even if you dont), if you love her (which by the sounds of it you do) you'd do anything for her, and this is a no-brainer.

Go make it right ;)

I think you give up while your ahead. You've told her you fancie her, and yet she still fancies another guy? For what ever reasons you fancie her, I dont know. She does drugs and alcohol, now, for me, that would put me off straight away, but she really must want to be friends with you, or she wants to hurt you, if you've told her you fancie her, but she's just moved on with a diffrent subject. I dont know what you find in her, but whatever it is, ask her; "Why did you blank my question when I told you I fancied you?" I would simply just go for another girl, its not worth it, drugs and alcohol? If you do go with her, I guarrente (However you spell that) you will have a crap life. But go for what you thinks best.

Ok, thanks for the advice.

I've been debating if I love her or not over the last two weeks, and after this advice, and advice from one of her friends, I've decided to give up on her.

Now when I look back, I think I was forcing myself to fancy her, sounds weird, but true. I don't think I even fancy anyone anymore, I still have feelings for a girl from my old school, I might try going for her. She told me that she used to fancy me last week, so maybe I could be in with a chance?

Good man. Takes a lot to look carefully and decide that you're fooling yourself, and if you hadn't already put that I would have had to say it I'm afraid. It looks to me like you were into her and just didn't know how to stop yourself from liking her, but it's good that you've managed to clear it up for yourself.
