Not necesserily, because the white faceplate is only for the front, you then have to buy replacement white buttons, and possibly a white skin for the back, so it won't look as good. Although peopole have said the white faceplate with black buttons and black back looks awesome, hmm..

prob white make stains etc easier 2 see? stil llooks smarter even i dont like psp xP but shudnt let that get i nway of white look

If I could get white instead of black for the same price yes but I wouldnt bother spending more cash for a colour change.
