Microsoft praises and reccomends Nintendo

Peter Moore, the xbox guy, in a recent interview says, "Tell me why you would buy a $600 PS3?" He went on to explain, "People are going to buy two [machines]. They're going to buy an Xbox and they're going to buy a Wii ... for the price of one PS3."

Now thats pretty cool, i also saw in an XBOX 360 magazine a few months back, good old Bill Gates was praising Nintendo for there new approach.

It seems Microsoft is using Nintendo to get at Sony. But this could mean a few number of 360 owners picking up a Wii as well. I also think due to the fact Rare have made Diddy Kong Racing DS, they may of made a little deal, but who knows.

Microsoft are just pushing the idea so that people actually think "You're right, - I could get two consoles for the price of one".

And I wouldn't say there's a deal going on because of Diddy Kong Racing - Rare have been making games for the GBA for years, they're just moving their priorities onto the newer platform.

Naah, Sony have impressed me since they bought Playstation out, i've always had fun with a Sony console.

I'll put it this way: the PS2 has sold in excess of 100 million units, the Xbox has sold 25 million, and the GameCube 22 million.

Even with Xbox and GC sales combined, they're still not a bigger video gaming force than Sony.

not many people are going too buy it this year because

1, it cost too much
2, nintendo wii has amazing things too come
3. xbox 360 and wii = 499 or 599 :o that tell's us the price.

Random fact 17# Nintendo invented wifi and it was that and pokemon alone that kept them going bust back in the n64 years as companys had to pay them for the patent technology

And with what I've seen off of my friends' 360's, they're not all that impressive at all... And there's really nothing for people to look forward to on it right now, unless you're one of those Halo freaks [I still don't understand how anyone can play Halo for more than five minutes]

I quite like Halo, but its not one of the games you can play for hours like Zelda.

I take that back- I did have one fun time in halo. Two of my friends had been playing for about two hours straight, and I don't know the rule about saving on halo (if it auto saves, if you have to save, etc.) but they went to go get drinks & I... erm... well... Used their grenades >;]

Oookay... I just go on co-operative mode and we both get them warthog cars and go full speed at each other and flip in the air and try to land on them alien freaks. But even that gets boring. All in all Halo 1 is quite a short game.

I'll buy one... it's not THAT expensive... Less than I paid for my PC, and PS3 is twice as powerful as this piece of junk computer I have :P
