Thoughs about death...? What happends? Where do you go?

Okay well im catholic and i like to belive in heaven but theres like no proof of it. Latley i've been thinking bout it like does it feel like u go to sleep and its black and u dont feel anything? Like idk are you afraid of death? I am. Whats your thoughts about it?

For one I'm not emo so it wouldn't cross my mind as much, but when I have thought about it, i'm not scared really. I think the only thing that would worry me is my family and freinds and how they would cope with it all.

I dont really like thinking about death, it gets me all panicky about it. Although that may sound a bit sad its true. Id like to think there is a heavan, only people that have died and come back to life can tell you though.

I belive in death as a final end, simply a final loss of conicioness. Its impossible to fear it since you can never experience it. Since as you will have lost the consioness there will never be a time that you know yourself to be dead, and hence will never know of what its like to be dead due to being dead in the first place.

So no, i dont fear death, not in the slightest, since if it happens i wont know anyway :D

Well its mainly just a confusion with the infinte and the finite.
Nothing can go on for ever. But if somthing doesnt exist within the frame work of time at all, the entire consept would be irrelvant, and therefor limiations on existance brought by a finite exstance in time would cease to exist.
The problem is if you move from finite to the infite, say go from are finite exstaince, to an infite one. We cant, since to be an infinite one we would have already had to exist for all time in realtuion to ourselfs anyway, and hence are unable to exsacpe finite limitions in that way "/

Iam not scared off dying really, i would not like too die young or burn i think that would be the worst death. i believe when someone dies its there time too go but yea i do think about what happens to you after. i kinda think your reborn but then again i do think there is a heaven.

Death is a sad thing i have had 6 friends die in the past 3 years they where all under 19...

Okay I have only read a handful of posts cause I don't have time just now to have a look at them all.

Anyway for a start don't worryu. A lot of people go through a stage when growing up when they think about all this, and for some it can really scare and worry them, but you just need to accept death as part of life and move on.

I agree. It is a subject which will always go unknown. We do not have any proof of what happens when you die, and everyone has different views on the subject (IE, some people believe in heaven/hell, or reincarnation etc) and until there's a major scientific breakthrough, we will never know what happens.

Haha, its kinda confusing. But you cant get bored, because you feel nothing, see nothing, think nothing. Once you shut off, you cant do anything or think anything. Im not denying heaven because no one knows, but your body does nothing.

It has been scientifically proven though that your most important life events do flash before you just before/when you die...

idk am not really scared of dying but of others dying my mum and family that scares me more and whether there is anything after this life dunno but would like to think there is cos there has to be a point to life and death maybe theres like parallel universes and we just move around to different ones as different people :s dunno its just too strange to try get my head round so not gunna bother, just live life have fun, treat people how ud like to be treated and when u die who knows we will all find out one day :)

Death simply being an end. Full stop, total lack of conciness, You simply cease to be.
