My old friend is being nasty to my best friend, well she was until she started hanging with her, anyway Emma is nasty and horrible to Gemma, and i know gem left me but i cant help missing her. Em calls her a fat pig who needs to eat all the time, and she's mean. Gem doesnt look bothered but i know she is. I want her to come back to me because im a better friend then that. But i dont know..

Well tell 'Em' that you don't like her talking about Gemma like that, and if she doesn't stop go back with your old friend S;
Sorry if that doesn't make any sence but your story was hard to follow S;

Tell the one that's being horrible that you really like her, but don't if she's horrible to iothers and, as it's probably a jealousy thing, make it clear that you like both of them for different reasons, and that being horrible to the one won't make you like the other mroe. It is kind of confusingly written, but I owuld just say tell the mean one that you really like her, but can't hang round with her if she carrys on being mean, because even if she l=doesn't look bothewrd she is probaly really really upset inside. I had this a couple of years back, when I started a new school and joined in with an group[ of 2 best firends, and a few people who wanted to be their best friends but didnt quite fit in. I got picked on by them and it was all a jealosy thing. The one day my friends actually stood up to her and didn't sit with her, because she was being mean, it worked for a good few weeks, so if you stick at it, and make it clear that she's not being pushed out, but that she will be if she carrys on being mean, then hopefully she should start being nicer, and at least tolerant, if not nice.

Didnt catch that exactly but got the general idea.
Well if its your old friend being nasty then talk some common sense into her, find out why shes being mean and try to fix it.
Best of luck :)
