Ouch! Grated my hand

Okay so we where doing the Home economics practical today and I was grating my cheese for my lovely savoury pasties (:rolleyes:) and I rated my thumb, and I have five small holes in the shape of a the little grater, the little circles. Anyways so I ended up not telling her so I didn't lose marks and the blood dripped over the pastry when I was rolling it out and it was a right mess. Luckily for me when we had cut out the pastry we places tomato puree on top so that covered up the blood stains. So my teacher will probably die of like some funny blood related disease tommorow :p
Anyways I am in agony, it stings like hell. Any advice on how too not make it sting, should I put a plaster on it? Its not bleeding any more or anything still stings. Sorry I don't do first aid! ='[

Umm.. Hydrogen Proxcide or however you spell it. Then maybe rap a band aid around it but not for long. Like when your typing or something it will help not to sting.

You have washed it yes? if so try and find some antiseptic cream to prevent any infection, once it starts to scab it'll get better. Theres no point putting plasters on it now. I sawed over my thumb on tuesday, nothing terrible, just a graze :]

Eww Feel Sorry For Your Teacher. As For The Grating It Will Heal But Id Bandage It. I Had A Nasty Accident With A Hand Slicer.... My Knuckle Got Slice To The Bone, After About 7 Hours Of Bleeding I Went To Emergency In My Pj's Lol. A Little Clean Out Bandage And Tetnis Injection It Was As Good As New [Not Really It Was Grose]
