Do you guys believe in global warming? I do, its hard to deny that it's happening. There is a movie coming out about it called "An Inconvenient Truth".

Trailor (http://youtube.com/watch?v=TUiP6dqPynE&search=an%20inconvenient%20truth)

The Site (http://www.climatecrisis.net/thescience/)

By the way, what Al Gore means it that video by "I used to be the next president of the United States of America" was that in 2000, there was a mishap in the florida ballots that caused Bush to win the election, even though Al Gore got the most votes. Even though I don't think Al Gore would be that great of a president, I wish he were in office instead of Bush.

What I find ironic is that, even though I hate to say it, Americans are to blame the most for this, and we are probably going to have the most devistating effects. Scientists say that this year there will be 3 Katrina-sized hurricanes to hit the US. Now while that doesnt mean they will be as devistating or have as much of a lack of responce, it's still a problem.

Belive? its proven? Its fact? Hence why america (well bush) gave up his lame attempts to deniy it dispite over whelming proof.

It is ironic that america was one of the formost contarys to deneiy it and one of the biggist causes, is now one of the contarys suffering the most from its effects "/

As you said, some. It's proven mate.

Some is still some. Its because of the fact that in some views (not mine), the temperature hasent risen that much. I think .2 degrees (F) over the past 5 years. Thus we have to rely on the effects as proof rather than the temperature. However, I still believe in it. The gulf of Mexico temperature rose 2 degrees last year, which caused hurricane katrina to be so large.

Yea, strangly enogh they all worked for the bush administration... Wired that...

Anyway they gave up once it was proven, chances are they only attempted to deney it for bush's polical agenda anyway "/

Bush doesnt have an agenda. I hate Bush because he's a moron, but most of the stuff he says is said by his staff. He has almost no opinion for himself (Other than that God appointed him to president), he just says what other people around him think, and he convinces himself that they're right.

He seems to have a pretty well conseaved Money agenda, or at least the people that do his thinking do.

Global warming = loosing money.
Hence its deniyed.

Irack say there going to the euro in oild trade = Looseing money
Irack invaded, first objective? Oil fealds.
(the actal invasion plan was drawn up before bush even came to power, by bush senior "/)

Iran recently suggested it may go to the euro.
Who is America suddenly getting angry at?

*Iraq

And I agree that we shouldnt be getting angry with Iran, but we definatly need to be working out something with them, we dont want them to have nuclear power. I dont believe they would do bad with it (If they bombed somewhere, the US could come in and have them surrender in 5 minutes flat), but even if they are using it for energy, we don't want that. Dangerous, even the U.S. is trying to move away from Nuclear energy. Not saying Iran is a bad nation.

Many people joke that we should have invaded Iran instead of Iraq, we were only 1 letter off. However, we need to be communicating with them. The president of Iran sent an 18 page letter to the president, actually friendly, and offered a way to work things out. However, the Bush administration didn't respond because they "Dont want to reward bad behavior". Theyre treating this like a 1st grade class, the problem with the white house today is the lack of communication. We resort to violence first, we havent even tried TALKING to Iran.

It's been over talked about via the media.

Really? Global warming? I havent seen really anyone talking about it enough. Everyones caught up on the ever-so-exaggerated bird flu. The only reason people arent scared of Global Warming is because the major earth-ending effects of it dont happen in a time they'll be alive.

I think Global Warming IS happening, but is it naturally happenening (because it HAS happened before tyhousands of years ago) or is it brought on by us or is it a mixture. We don't know. But we can stop it. Nuclear Energy is clean (air-wise), efficient and so are wind turbines and hydroelectricity, maybe we should bomb out the coal power station across the world tommorow and build CLEAN power instead. Then tax fuel at extremley high rates to car and aeroplane users, so smaller amounts of people use these. I walk to school every morning, and I live outside my schools "walk to school area." I'm sure you can do that.

Global Warming CAN be stopped, but governments HAVE to be serious, ESPECIALLY the americans.

Im not sure if this is the case..but the ice melting is already in the sea. So heres what i've heard;
When you put ice in a glass of water and wait for it to melt..the water level won't rise. So why's everyone getting worked up over the ice melting?

Sorry if the ice is above sea level.
