I was warned for double posting, when *cough* I didn't double post. So your moderators need to do a better job.
And,
If you want to add extra comments when you've already posted use the Edit button to add it to your first post
That's pretty hard to do when the edit button goes away after a certain amount of minutes. So I advise that you let people edit whenever to avoid double posting.

Ye i've had a high moderator warning me for double posting in the spam forum.
I also had a new forum moderator (ages ago) messeging me to remove my oversized signature, i told them there signature was larger than mine and i never got messeged back.
Incompetence.
this moderator hasn't took any further action [user notes ect..] so just forget about it, only a mistake, but if your still not happy PM baving

Moderators are still people, people make mistakes. It's only a warning, why make a problem of it?

Have you ever been accused of doing something you didn't do?
Plus, I was more or less getting my second point across. In case you still don't know what that was.

In the rules it states - You must wait until another user posts.

Yes, I am WELL aware of that.
AGAIN, my point is, you disable editing after x minutes, AND don't allow double posting!
When you double post, you get told to edit, but what if you can't edit?
In the rules it states - You must wait until another user posts.
Yes, however in the spam forums rules it states all rules exept the double post rules applys ;)

You may double post in the spam forum, in a normal forum you have 15 minutes to edit your thread which is plenty of time.

For 1) No it's not "plenty of time", it's bugger all time. I'm sure anyone with half a brain would agree.
And 2) Then stop moderators, if you can even call them that anymore - they don't do much moderating per se, from saying "dont double post - use the edit button". Because, after 15 minutes, you can't do either. Smart one idiots.

It is plenty of time, if the edit button disappears then you can wait until someone else posts to make a new post, or if it is really important you can make a new post and say something like 'Sorry for double post'.
Heinous

Oh, so the rule is, now..
No double posting.
Except spam forum.
Or if you need to add more to your original post after the short 15 minute period.
BUT NO DOUBLE POSTING!
I don't see what your problem is.
the moderator in question hasn't took any further action..
and if you say something like 'sorry to double post' and what you want to add is important then they will say don't double post however no further action will be taken so forget about it.

I just think it's stupid that you guys contradict yourselves. By saying no double posting. But edit instead. But if you haven't edited in 15mins, then you can double post if it's important. And whos' the judge of it's importance?
Something un-important to one, could be important to another.
Why not just enable indefinate editing. 8-)

Exactly, so the rule is saying.
If you made a thread not in the spam section, you posted something and after 15 minutes you have to post again to update it, you'll have to PM someone and say
PLEASE POST IN DIZZ THRED SO I CAN POST AGAIN, the point in that?

the moderator who edited your post should have said 'or wait till someone else posts'
if you don't like Habbox's rules Im sure Sierk can live without your presence on the forum...

edit;
But you see, I don't want to have to wait for someone else to post to update my original post.
Oh, and I'm not leaving, I wouldn't wanna make things better for you all. :)

I guess we are too smart for you.
If it is important you can double post and the mod might merge your posts (I would).
15 minutes is plenty of time, if the thread is popular enough somebody will have posted within that 15 minutes.
Or make a spare account and post with that account? As long as it isn't something pointless.
