This is sort of a complaint, except complaints are normally handled professionaly, which from the post I just saw, doesn't say much for Habbox.

http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=1755935&postcount=25

He wants to buy it cause he wants it?
God don't be so stupid... That's exactly like people saying why do you want to buy this purple pillow as it is going to be released/has been released.
;/
And for noobs I know the purple pillow has been released. I was using it for an example.

This is your head rare values reporter, and your forum moderator, yet he is calling a user stupid?

There are more simple, polite ways of telling someone they are wrong, or disagreeing, but as a representive of Habbox it does not say much for the site. Fansites are meant to appreciate users, they are supporting them afterall, not run them down and call them stupid.

Of course, seeing how the staff deal with situations, I don't expect this to be dealt with professionally. I just expect a load of insults. Just wanted to voice my opinion. ^_^

Closed by 8Freak8, Site Manager. Had you PMed me about this instead of creating a thread he would have been dealt with within 2 days of the PM. Ymo has since been removed from staff. How can you criticise us about how we deal with complaints if you think the proper way to make a complaint is to post it in a public forum. Complaints are always dealt with by management in any organisation, don't complain about us being unprofessional if you have no idea how to complain in the first place. Posting a thread is clearly going to cause trouble and have no affecto n the situation at all.

In future PM me.

Within a couple of minutes I have found another example

http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=1764181&postcount=17

"You acctually believe in Pokemon, and the fact that you type like a noob is just... OMG i cant explain, just go away."

Go away?! Shouldn't you be glad that people are even visiting your site? But then your staff are telling users to go away?

I can understand you feel the staff need to set an example and be mature.

But a majority (if not ALL) the staff members are teenagers. As i'm sure you are too Kieran.
They're allowed to voice there opinions (You may feel HxF doesn't open that opportunity [sp?], but we do.). And I suppose the 2 in hand here were doing that.

I'll post a reminder in the Staff forums.

you don't make threads everytime a member bes rude, do you?

Most moderators are teens, like Smiddy said, we all make mistakes and the member before him asked a stupid question and he answered it...

Sorry Eternal, your definition of having fun is insulting the members that support you and keep this site running?

Yes, staff can voice opinions, but there's ways of going about it.

"Shut up you noob, go away!"
"I disagree, sorry"

Spot the difference anyone?

Obivously we'd prefer the second sentence way of pronouncing things. But we can't adjust staff to speak that way in all cases.

And I have to agree with the first part of your post there.

It really is pathetic how some of the staff here act.

sometimes it may tske a while for a mod to read your post report as if they are regstered with a ******** e-mail address it gets sent straight to junk and when I say its not junk they still get sent there, and I only realise I have them when I
recive an e-mail from someone else.

You can have fun but don't set the rules if your staff are going to break them and nothing will happen to them:

I sorted that and had it taken care of.

Also, none of my reported posts go into the junk mailbox, if they do I suggest all Moderators change their settings so it doesn't reconise [sp] HabboxForum reported posts as junk.

I have a perm ban for being rude to staff members on my last account, no other warning messages at all.. ever on it.

But then again, rules only apply to certain people, Say if you were to say, "Habboxs layout is pretty" in refrance to the old one sirek made, you get kicked of the staff and often a perm ban?
Althogh they like to deney it, its hard when i was the manger of that part at the time, and therefor had a very clear view of it all "/

I ain't going too read all the other posts in this thread.
I am a big culprit of anger towards others. I don't randomly pick on people and bully them but sometimes when someone acts wrong or does something too hurt anyone else I would generally tend too post something possibly rude about the user that is annoying everyone else.
ie. That chansey person that revived old old threads from the deep, I called a moron for doing so continually.
Staff aren't supposed too be rude too 'normal members' but sometimes it is hard too act like a robot that has no views or opinions and can't show what they think of other members. It is hard too just ignore others who randomly start picking on you for no apparent reason or makes a big deal out of something and you just want too tell them too shut up. So there we go I suck at being nice too everyone, even though I am help desk staff  Fire me if you wish

I expect all Habbox staff members to always stay friendly and polite to others, no matter what others say or do. Usually JackHb deals with staff being not polite or rude, but he is leaving now, so I have to think of a way to deal with this. Maybe we can let Super Moderators and Administrators deal with it.

However if you see any Super Mod, Admin or Manager not behaving how they should, please report it in a pm to 8Freak8 and me (sierk), so we can deal with that ourselves.

Thanks

KwikSave was insulting a spammer who swears.

We also need to have fun, We have Opinions.

Why should we be nice to spammers who come on and spam the forum to hell?

So instead of my calling the spammer a Pleb you want me to say this?

"It Is against forum rules to Post pointless posts, Please obey the rules and have a nice day"

If we all said things like that the forum would be a boring place, If it ever went like that i would leave.

Yup...
Yet you must have forgotten to give the thread link. You gave us the post link.
Lord was actually trying to make a fool out of Nisus. So yes, it was me calling him stupid.

And btw, I think it's cowardly if you don't say what you think. And sneaky/keniving thing. I say what I think. Yet I get slated for it. :)
But it is my opinion and I didn't realise staff weren't meant to have emotions. Sorry my robotic memory file didn't pick that up. I shall now note 'Must be nice. Must be nice. Do not show emotion. Do not show emotion'

Erm first I'd like to say lets not turn this into a thread where we all post links to make fun of / denounce staff members because you wouldn't like that being done to you. If you have a complaint contact their manager, I know for a fact that I have complained once about someone totally out of line and had it fixed and recieved one or two complaints and dealt with it promptly. So don't say we let people go around being idiots.

Also, Marcus I just have to say that that's a tiny bit hypocritical. First you say that we aren't robotic and are rude and should conform to the rules then you tell us that we shouldn't be robots? I just don't get it, I'm not trying to make you look bad or anything.

Please recognize that this is a fansite for a virtual world where all staff are volunteers. If you're expecting mature 18+ staff who follow codes of conduct then I can't really say that we can provide that for you. You yourself call people who are adults and still play Habbo losers yet you expect us to act like them? Now I do my best nowadays to act semi mature but I have shown many people who were ashamed of themselves that I was a humongous noob in my earlier Habbox days. I may not be the most popular Habboxer/Habbox Staff around but I didn't turn out that bad. All I am saying is that essentially, we are you. We're not any different from you guys, our staff come from your ranks. Sure we expect a higher standard of conduct from our staff but were we to follow that rigidly I don't know how many staff we would have. Then also you guys would complain that only the goody two shoes are hired.

Habbox is sorta like the USA, no matter what you do somebody's gonna complain about some aspect of it and what you have to remember is that we do try our best.

All i ask for is a compromise. A staff member who can think for themselves and have an opinion yet also be able to abide by the rules that they are so eager to set for others... i just don't want to opposite ends of the extreme - A staff member who is like a robot, or one who is like a toddler let loose with a keyboard.

That link shows you pointing out the ovious (That the thread has been Bumped (Brought back up) - Which is spam.

As for this, i am ashamed for you that you decided to purposefully hunt down for a thread where i supposedly spammed. Seeing as all i was trying to do was tell people that the thread had been bumped - otherwise it could have been seen as a recent thread with lots of posts.
I think on the spam-o-meter your post (which may i add has now been removed) would be of a much higher rating than mine, seeing as yours had nothing to do with the forum which it was posted within.
