1. Dont wear a sweatshirt/jumper/hoodie you will overheat.

2. Put money down your sock + dont take a wallet, your money will stay safe.

3. Dont wear a hat, you will lose it or it will get all sweaty.

4. If you smoke put cigs in your sock, they wont get crushed. If you live in scotland, do the same but smoke them in the toilets (smoking ban).

5.Dont be afraid to "get involved", if you fall over while in a pit someone will always help you up.

6. Drink water before you go in, this will stop you dehydrating.

7. Wear converse, they will stay on your feet. If you dont have cons, tie you laces tight.

8. Organise a meet-up-point with your friend(s), before you go in the concert. Unlikely you will stay together.

9. Dont forget your ticket!

10. If your short on cash, and want a band t-shirt, go outside the concert at the end and there are people selling fake Tees.(Ok, its not too good for supporting the band, but its a T-shirt.

Hope it helps.

Feel free to post more hint or tips.

11. When running out of air and need somwhere to breath, duck down, there's lots of oxygen.

12. Try stay away from moshpits, they are rather rough.

13. Dont worry about being not near the front to begin with because as the concert moves on people get more tired and dont care if you pass them.

14. Watch it if you crowd surf, people steal your shoes and punch you as you go past.

15. Always have your hands up and jump around etc. A band member is more likely to chose you if they chose somone from the crowd.

carbon dioxide is heavier than air, it stays low to the ground. Thats why people can die underground. They get tired, have a sit down, get starved for air. (i think)

Nah, it all floats around by everyones faces, it is easier to breathe if you duck down.

Dont cheer/scream just because part of the song got quieter-- It makes people like me get angry.

You'd probably get killed in a mosh pit. Not even joking but I bet you would.

Mosh pits are probably the most dangerous at smaller gigs than at concerts and festivals. At Concerts and fests people are so crammed together all they really can do is just push to make space for themselves and thats about it.

Another tip, if the mosh pit is rough dont even bother trying to get to the front, stewards will pull you out if they think your getting crushed.

If you want to crowd surf tap the several people in front of you and tell them of your intentions and they will help you up.

If you fall in a mosh pit then try and get up as soon as possible, I was on a bottom of one and someone jumped on my ribs by accident as I lingered for too long on the floor.

If you're going to see a band, don't wear their T-shirt unless you want to look dumb. An exception is if you bought a shirt at the show/concert and don't want to hold onto it.
