psp update 2.71

Sony released firmware 2.71 in Japan. But it shouldn't take long before it is available to the rest of the world. Note that this update is only for people who bought a Japanese Playstation Portable.

New features in this update are:


- Downloading of demo's using the psp browser and saving them to the memory stick.
- Some bugs with video output using the Location Free Player are fixed.
- New icon has been added called Portable TV.

Another fairly unknown feature in this update is the ability for developers to create a weblink in UMD Video and games. This link/button will open the PSP browser and displays a web page of the programmers choice. Some examples: You select a button in a game which takes you to a page where you can download extra game content like levels. Or you click a link in a menu of a movie which opens a page where some trailers can be downloaded. 100th post!!! :):D

Locoroco is actully quite coolmy mates got a demo ^^ that one and iv got the demo on a disk

You have to pay for most of the videos, and it's all jappanese. Not great really.

I can't remember the folder name, but it needs to be in a folder in the GAME folder.

Ok i've done it.

You plug your psp in and goto game folder and make a folder called UCJS10036

I dont like japanese psp's because the circle button on it means x that goes forward and x goes back
