Top 3 has to be
Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away (Halo 2 Soundtrack, great track to listen to while pounding your battle rifle into the backs of idle elites)
Sahara Hotnights - Hot Night Crash (Burnout 3 Soundtrack, another great track to listen to as youre hurtling down a city street pounding buses off the road as you go)
Billy Talent - Red Flag (Not actually on any soundtrack i can think of but i have it on my xbox 360 so i listen to it whenever im playing some sort of adrenaline fuelled game)

One Winged Angel - Nobuo Uematsu (FF7)
Trance Kuja - Nobuo Uematsu (FF9)
Otherworld - Rammstein (FF10)

FF games always have the best music. And it's all the second to last boos fights that are the best and have the best music.

any adventure or strategy game etc has good soundtracks

Like Metal Gear Solid 2's one, I liked that

FFX and FFX-2 ones are good
Did you know: The person who plays Xiao Mei on Desperate Housewives, does the voice of Paine on FFX-2!
