If you won't train strenght than I'd get full guthan+ whip and some sort of sheild. Go to dagganoth and be there :) till you reach the lvl..use spear to heal up.

but you said you want free xp? dagganoths are way better melee xp, fire giants are usually packed with rangers and stuff. :rolleyes:

also dagganoths drops aren't that bad, A LOT OF HERB SEEDS.

You hardly ever get hit by the low lvl range monster only the high lvls hit a bit not often...

The cannon will not get you and melee exp because the cannon WILL hit more damage.
