The Valedictorian is someone who represents the graduating class and presents a speech during the graduation ceremony. I'm aiming for that.

I have to write a speech about graduating.

Can anyone give me any good points to mention or to bring up during my speech?

Completely bumlick the school so they like you (more likely to be picked) - say something about how you've "learned so much" and how school's been "the best time" in your life, but add in some subtle jokes to lighten the mood of a potentially boring occassion. Be cheery, and don't babble on about something completely irrelevant or go off a tangent about something, it'll bore the listeners, which you certainly don't want to do.

Good luck with it, the most important thing to remember is to be confident.

I've heard of valedictorian, my brothers friend is it this year. Don't think I could help out much with the speech, I'm not very good with them, I guess just try not to read it but talk to the people, and be confident and comfortable.
