Anything starting with "yeah, but..."

It basically means that I'm right but they don't want to back down. Example;

Me - "Hey look I got an A* in my history coursework"
Mother - "Yeah, but you should be getting A* in every subject"

or

Me - "*Says something that's right*"
Idiot - "Yeah, but *says something irrelevant*"
