Mine would personally be when i bought a hc sofa for a mode bar just after they came out. ;)

I was given a petal patch for a christmas tree once, and she would ahve accepted less, because she didn't know it was a rare. Except because it was a friend I felt guilty and added to make it 42 creds worth of norms which, at the time, was all I could afford.

Yeah i have a similar story to one of the posts above.
I bought a speaker for about 3.5t worth, because i'd gone on holiday to devon for a week, and i came back and went on habbo and i went straight into my room and got a message from a friend - and he said "i'm selling a speakers corner" (they were worth about 16t i think at the time) so i went over to his room without looking in the catalogue, and offered him all i had, thinking he'd say no, but we traded over.

I was happy and i sent out a message to my friends list telling them what i traded, and they told me that it was in the catalogue i was gutted lol

Ive dont that with my Mocha/Love sofa countless times.
