looks like uve done the shading with photoshop blend mode
EDIT; dont missunderstand me ok, said looks like ;) so that means uve done a great job

What I was going to say, gradients. Don't use bloody gradients.

To people who know what pixel art is, it looks crap.

So sorry, try again, shading it yourself.

Um... That's a bit different... Kind of basic, bit too much blended shading too. Assuming you want a metallic look, you should alternate the shading tones to make it look more realistic.
