A while ago, I posted a thread about a guy I liked. I tried everything! Everything suggested! (Apart from the invite home thing) So, after flirting didn't work, I dropped it and asked my mate to ask him out.

Didn't take my advice :( But in all seriousness, you need to just let him go. The two of you obviously weren't meant to be, and if you're busy grieving for the fantasy you may well miss someone who's completely right for you.

Don't worry, we all want things we can't get at some point in our lives. You need to realise though, and have a good think and find out exactly what it is that you are so attracted to in this person and what makes you want to be with them so much. Therefore, for future you can look out for these signs in other guys to see exactly what boxes they tick and hopefully you could get a guy with the same interests etc.

However, this guy has basically told you he isn't interested in you, and part of growing up is just accepting rejection and moving on. Put all this down to experience, and just get on with your life. If he doesn't want to be with you, then he's not worth it - go out there and find someone who appreciates you for who you are and you don't need to try and impress etc. to get a relationship with. :p :]
