As you might have noticed, the world’s biggest sporting event started last Friday. It is of course the FIFA World Cup 2006 which is being hosted by Germany. The tournament got off to a great start with plenty of goals, some luckier than others, and by the middle of this week all 32 competing nations would have played their opening game.
Here at Habbo Hotel, we are going to have plenty of events and competitions running over the next few weeks to celebrate the World Cup in the Habbo Community. We will of course also be cheering our boys on in their effort to bring the World Cup back home to England after fourty long years of hurt.
Between June 13th and July 9th Habbo will be mostly about the magic of football, or even better, the Habbo Way to Football! There will also be some events for those who are not so keen on football, like Glitterkat, buthttp://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/album1086/se_football_guest.gif they will be in keeping with the football festival mood that will be sweeping through Habbo Hotel.
There will be football quests, live commentary of our team’s matches, a new public room, crazy room design competitions, the new Football Furni, big prizes and of course the ultimate football game which starts on Tuesday June 13th with current World Champions Brazil taking on Croatia. You will decide the result of the match by playing the game here on Habbo Hotel!
It’s the Habbo Football Hangout, the ultimate place to breathe, talk, share and scream football together with friends and opponents alike!
