well.. Music keeps me occuiped for hours if I bring lots of CDs + and MP3 Player.. I usually take the latest issue of Kerrang! magasine to read etc. THat might sound quite boring to some people so here are some other suggestions:

Read a Book
Listen To Music
Tiddlywinks (Strange but fun if your bored)
Handheld console
Portable DVD Player
Eating (passes time and it's fun, lol)
