Definetley don't do what FlyingJesus said. No offence to him or anything, but that wont get you anywhere and will most likely make the matter worse.

Think about it, if shes willing to at least go out with you for one day - then it shows shes interested in you at least slightly! Why not just cool off the whole 'going steady' thing, and why not just see each other for a bit, and get to know each other better - that way you can see if you both do like each other and get to know each other well before getting into a heavy relationship.

I'd have to disagree I'm afraid. Ok, so the bit about spreading a rumour about her isn't a great plan, that was just a bit of a joke really, but it reflects the relationship. Like Joord said, she's messing him about for a laugh, it happens from time to time. She didn't want to say "no" outright because she didn't want to hurt his feelings with a full rejection, instead she said she'd go out with him just for a day. Hence why I said he should be the one to end it, at least go out with a bit of credibility left.

Girls get embaressed by things like this. Doesn't mean she doesn't like you.

My gf (ex now. heartbreaking/depresseing), who i devoted everything to, only said to her CLOSEST friends that we were together. But, even if she doesn't say yes everyday, doesn't mean she doesn't like you. If she says no, then thats another matter.
