Question about membership

Hi, I have got wow off my mate and it came with a guest pass key. I installed the game fine but when it came to creating a account I had a problem:(. You HAVE to use a credit card but I don't want to use one. I have been told that you can like pay £8 (Or how ever much it is) and get a like top up card and use that. I was woundering if I could do that? It doesn't have that on the page :(

If your using the guest pass you only use the credit card to verify, no money will be taken, and if your using the proper key then the same, proper key gives a months free so nothing will be taken until the month is up, by then you can cancel it and change subscription types.
