SPORTS DAY

[WHANGFACE]

OMGGG, it was today, I was bricking it. I had 4 events, but we never got to finals in tug of war so only 3 really. There are 10 people in each race and my positions were:

200m Hurdles - 1st
2000m - 2nd
400x400m Relay - 3rd

Woooo XD

I've finished school but i went to my mates brothers sports day. It was okay, except some chavvy cows keep giving me evil looks 'cause of the way i looked. Idiots.

My school isn't having sports day this year as we are having a new school built on the back field and would be difficult to have the event with all the building and all the health and safety stuff. Im leaving this academic year so i wont even be in the new school.

Mines on Friday, im in Shot Put.
And in ours, theres only 7 people in each event, plus I bet there wont be as many events as there is in yours.
We dont have hurdles, we dont have 2000m, max we have is 800m and we have a relay, but its only 300m relay, lol.

In ours, we do all the non-running events in the morning, like long jump, triple jump, shotput and javelin, and no body else is allowed to watch.

In the afternoon, is all the running events where everybody is out on the field watching everyone.

Im not doing any running event so I might just take in my DS and play on that all afternoon.

Ours is practically the same, all non running events first [except tug of war FINALS] and then after lunch all running events. I was in Tug of War but never got to finals, so I didn't have to do it. We came 3rd out of 10 so JUST missed out on Finals.

our school doesnt do tug of war, only for town sports which is where all the schools compete against each other. i was on the team last year and got a bronze medal :]

I thought Sports Day was optional, but I always have a great time in it. Suppose sports just aint some peoples fave activity :P

Well, my sports day is on Friday if it don't rain and this year my school's tryed somthing new.
You've got to pass to get into sports day and everyone who can't has normal lessons.
I qualified for High-jump but thats it. woo. No lessons.

I'm not exactly athletic.. more of a team sports player than a runner, thrower, etc. Did quite well in high-jump though, so that's all I ever did on sports day. Never again though, left school Friday :D

Ours wus 2daii.. Ah did 800, n 100x100 relay last runer.. came 4th in 800 n we all came 7th in relay (ano.. but r school is like 1 girls fastest in manchester, n the girl who won 1st in 800, sheesh she wus so tall twas shokin!!!
