Where exactly in the Park do you buy these from? I rang Alton Towers the other day, and she said you don't buy them from the Booking Office, but she didn't say where. Have any of you bought one of the fast track passes? Do you get a choice whether to sit at the front of a ride or not?

They normally sell them outside the shops near the waterslide ride

Really? I would of thought that they had a certain amount to sell, because if everyone had one, they wouldn't really be much point..

They are quite expensive, when i was there, there were plenty available...not many people actually buy them.

Yeah once, can be good when the park is busy.

But there not always for the best ride (can get lucky or not)

Go on Rita Queen of Speed and get whiplash like most people do on that ride.

I've never bought one, I don't think you get on the front, On nemesis, I think the back row is reserved for Priority passes..

Priority passes are given free sometimes when A ride is unnavailable/broken down. You can buy fast-track, just look on the map for where to buy.
You get given set times for rides, and they CAN run out!

Your all talking about the OLD fastrack system..

This is what happens now;
You buy your "shortcut" ticket as they are called from a ticket booth, or on the phone* - And you will get a ticket that looks like an entrance ticket but will say:

This ticket entitles you to fastrack entrance onto the following rides on [Date]:

Air
Nemesis
Oblivion
The Flume

These are priced at £7, and you do not have a specific time.. (You also join different queue lines which are clearly "signposted") - You can add Rita onto this for an additional £3..

Not the cheapest, but can save you 5hr+ of queuing on a busy day, so It's worth it.

*Subject to avalibility. They currently only sell 100 a day.
