Euro Pride

On Saturday i am going Euro Pride for the first time ever, in London, but don't really know what to expect, so has anyone been to Euro or Gay Pride before? I know it will be a great day cos i will be with all my friends and will meet new people, and we're supposed to go on a parade and all that. I'm looking forward to it..

Well there was one here in Glasgow last Saturday which I was told was good fun and went well. Personally, I'm not gay so havn't been to any, lol, but apprantly there a good laugh!

Erm, as far as i am aware there is no nakedness at Euro Pride. But there will be lots of gays dressed as super heroes, so i've been told... :P.

From the usual common knowledge and watching the news etc, it's a lot
of homosexual's dressed up in fancy costumes, drag, banners, etc.

It was really good, the march was great, got no homophobic comments at all, and can't wait till next year! Met some new people, and grew closer to other friends. At first i was nervous because there was so many people there, but you kinda get caught up in it all and i became comfortable there. I recommend anyone to go next year. :eusa_danc

All the really camp gays dress up in tight leathers and as woman.
And then they wonder why people always think of gays like that :s

Are straight people battered and killed because of who they love? No. We are though.

Gay Pride is an event that spreads awareness of us, and lets people no that we aren't just out there to steal husbands and "spread our disease".

It's not stupid, it's a right. lol. :P

True. A lot of roads are shut off and what not then it ends up everyone's going to one place and all congested and ugh.
