I have, but then people made a good point "No because Potter doesn't act like a nerd, just because he's smart". I didn't really care anyway.
(My last name is Potter, and my best friend in primary school was Ryan too, so the name Potter stuck)

I dont get called either, i get called worse, but none of those.
Btw those who say words dont hurt, never got hit with a dictionary. I swear thats someones sig on here, but its def true. Words CAN hurt. But im so used too the other words, they've lost all meaning lol. But considering like i was the lowest student, one of the lowests, in my class when i was at school, so i dont know how i could be called a nerd lol.

Of course words can hurt. We are all only humans and at the end of the day if you get a mouthful of abuse of someone, it's obviously going to hurt your feelings.
Personally, I've never been called either of these... I think those words are a bit outdated as I've not really seen anyone in my many years at school being called them. Occasionaly I've heard someone being called a geek, but they didn't take it personally and I've never had it directed at me...

Yes, ive been called a swat before cos i came top of the class for a maths test and to tell the truth i wasnt bothered.
the way i look at it, you can be a "swat" with good grades, good punctuality, attendance, behaviour etc or you can be this cheap lowdown that everyone pretends to like, who is idiotic, thick, and will never keep a job and will never be successful.
im not referring to anyone imperticular as everyone is different. I think swat gets over-exagerated a little. I call myself a swat at times because i try my best, the amount i revised for science was halarious, and it isnt often i put a single toe out of line.
whilst others, will talk all lesson, swear at teachers, come in late everyday, skip school alot, wont do their work, dont revise, dont even try, and at the end of the day, they expect themselves to do well when they are older.
Really what i msaying is that, be proud of who you are and dont wish to be any different! people may be jelous of your intelligance or your personality etc.
tor you can be this cheap lowdown that everyone pretends to like, who is idiotic, thick, and will never keep a job and will never be successful.
Bags on the lowdown!
I'm smart but luckily, this year i got in with the 'jocks' and so now, everyone likes me and i got much more popular. :)

I don't know. People who are 'swats' in our year actually care very much about their levels (we all care, but they CAREEEE) and they would rather read a book than talk to you.
But if you're like.. clever and nice then you're not a swat. If you get me? If you like.. socialise? Lmao

If people call you a nerd then compare yourself to people who have a better knolwedge than you and are acheiving a higher level or grade in their exams than you. Tell them I will achieve in life because I have payed attention in school.
As for me I have plenty of male and female friends and they wouldn't bretray me. No-one in my class hates me (I think...) and ever since the start of a new school, year 9 the bullys have become the quiet ones.

As Bill Gates said: “Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.”
