Is anyone into writing stories?

I myself like writing Fantasy stories.

If anyone has heard of Forgotten Realms (R.A Salvatore?) Drizzt Do'Urden or Baldur's Gate, sort of like that.

Also anyone heard of Nanowrimo? You get a month (November) to write a 50,000 word story about anything you want.

Yeah once when I got really bored I made up this REALLY long story during a few weeks. It was about 40 pages long on word, then I gave it up 'cos I read it and it was really boring. Altogether I've written about 6 stories in my spare time (not counting the school stuff ;))

I did that. 60 something pages on word, then I deleted it and thought "wait a minute, why did I do that?"

I did write (and still have) a big guide to my made up world for Nanowrimo, but I never had enough time to write a novel and finish the world, maybe this year though.

I wanted the story to be a novel but then....I realised it was rubbish :( I was really upset that I spent so long on a story that was *yawn*

Well my problem is I don't describe stuff very well. So if I write something, and it stinks, I'd hav eto go back and edit it all to make it more descriptive and better :p

Ha, I'm the opposite. I describe things too much. If that's possible ;)

I found my old guides, I might host them soon, maps and everything. I was well pleased of the map, it fades from desert to grassland to snow :p

I'm currently re-writing my world guide. Did a Magic guide. It's going to take a loooong time :D
