I was just typing in GTASA, looking fof the official San Andreas site, when this site popped up. I clicked on 'Official site' and here;

Looks like the next GTA isn't gonna take that long to come out :) Hopefully it will be as good a game as San Andreas was :P

It is an all-new game, built from the ground up and using the graphics engine from Rockstar Presents Table Tennis. So it's gonna be pretty :D

You won't even have to shell out the £425 for a PS3 to play it either, seeing as it's also going to be released on the 360 at launch.

What about the PS2? Because I'm considering to never get a 360 or PS3 :P

As far as I am aware - and as far as the announcements have gone - it's going to be 360 and PS3 only (and will probably come to PC after a while).

GTA:IV won't be out the the PS2, I'm almost sure of it. The new GTA will be using the RAGE engine, and I'm pretty sure the PS2 can't handle that.

Have you seen Rockstar Presents Table Tennis? That's using the RAGE engine, and the PS2 can't handle those sorts of graphics.

The PSP is getting GTA: Vice City Stories this October.

Correct the PS2 is VERY old now (5 years atleast?) I remember reading in this magazine YEARS ago about when the PS2 was gonna come out and they showed us this crap prototype. PSM 44 I think. AGES OLD.

The PS2 will never be able to keep up. Its dieing people.
