Originally known as Final Fantasy IV in Japan, and released in the US as Final Fantasy II on the SNES, this is one of the titles that cemented Square's reputation for role playing excellence. This new version, available exclusively on Game Boy Advance, brings brand new additions to the already gripping storyline.

Ordered to carry out the unholy plans of his King, the Dark Knight Cecil finds himself deliberately disobeying those orders, putting aside his loyalty to put an end to the mad ruler's schemes. In search of sacred elemental crystals, take the role of Cecil and guide him and up to 11 other characters as you wander the world map. You'll journey across land, sea, and even through the air, exploring towns and castles, solving puzzles - and battling against legions of viciously aggressive monsters.

Each playable character, from mages to thieves, have their own unique abilities and weapons; use devastating magical attacks as well as more traditional combat moves to best your foes. But you'll have to pay attention; the game uses the Active Time Battle system, a variation of turn-based action. If you don't strike against your foe after a certain amount of time, your enemies will attack repeatedly without waiting for your response!

You can also test your battling skills in a massive new dungeon, get the lowdown on your foes in the Bestiary, or just listen to FFIV's legendary musical score using the soundtrack player. All this and Chocobos too!

·18 towns and castles to explore

·New events for each character

·New boss characters

·Prove your skills - or improve them - in an all new, 50 level dungeon where you can also gain new "Ultimate" weapons

·Quick save function ideal for handheld gaming
