I went to http://www.habbohotel.co.uk/community/fansites/habbo_radio.html to find that thinkhabbo have been removed of the fansite list!

ThinkHabbo has posted on their site saying they asked for the offical status to be removed, but it was due to "After recent events which we will not discuss the management had a long discussion last night about official status"

Yeah, and there was a radio competition which Mr Nkay. fixed, but he "fixed" it wrong. He asked a question on balancing equations (science), aswell as others that everyone got right, but said that everyone got the balancing equations wrong, when clearly the majority didn't... (I for one love balancing scientific equations, although I don't know why...)

What is people problem with Thinkhabbo? It WAS the managements decision to ask to be removed from the Official Fansite list. Thinkhabbo will always be one of the most popular radios around no matter what and the reason I think most of you dislike the site is due to jealously. When Habbox were/are very popular, people were saying they hated it and it is exactly the same with Thinkhabbo.

And the fact that the owner pulls off publicity stunts like saying 'I'm leaving' or then having fake competitions. And they hacked stuff, and as Barmi said, most of their comps are fixed. I tuned in once, and their radio's not even that great. It's just a load of "Search Nkay. so we can get his room popular!" ads. I'm sick of it, and if they did ask to get removed, lolatthem, and if staff took them off, lolatthinkhabbo. Good job, anyways, they're gone. We can all visit rooms in peace now.

That's a generalisation, and not necessarily accurate to every account, but you can get a rough feeling for ages when you observe one of their riots. Now, given a few weeks they will mature (most people tend to mature fast on Habbo), and move onto a site like HabboHut. Again, this is a generalisation, but one which I have observed for myself.

The majority of us here had nothing against ThinkHabbo when it launched. There is nothing wrong with gaining popularity for a site... but you expect it to remain a quality site. If DJs decide to "rig" competitions, and the owner pulls a "leaving" stunt, it doesn't do well for the credibility.

I believe used Nkay. DJ'd on HabboFM before he opened ThinkHabbo, which was a credible site. This is where I had my first experience with Nkay., where he both rigged a competition for 20 thrones on one show, and swore once on that show, and once on the following. Obviously, I complained, but because the lovely Nkay. was manager at the time (or some form of ranked staff), there was very little that was done; despite complaints from a number of people.

Anyway; this is not a vendetta against Nkay., it's just where my dislike for ThinkHabbo stems. A new site deserves a new beginning, so I gave it one, but after that, it tried my patience too often. Other people have had this experience aswell.

If anyone has been insulted for what I have said, I willingly apologise; I just needed to get that off my chest in a topical thread.

They got removed because ''Friday Night with Nkay. and Yatzi'' was on at 7:00pm GMT on a Friday, and then they heard Becs was DJing on WackyHabbo.co.uk at the same time - obviously they would get an alert.

So what did they do? Wait for the alert, then re-direct it to Meat-Spin. Also hacking other sites (Habbo Meadow) they got removed aswell. The ''We asked to be removed'' is total crap.

i. ClubHabbo is their ''arch'' enemy, but who got voted best official fansite?
ii. SkaterChu (ClubHabbo) beat Nkay (CrapHabbo) in SUPERLOVE.
iii. Majority of ThinkHabbo listners are from 10-13.

Okay here goes my opinion... I really liked the site designs an stuff they did was very unique, however i personally thought it's managed very erm childish and almost encourages Habbo's not to take safety or the rules of Habbo seriously. I think the main reason people dislike ThinkHabbo isn't because of jealousy but because of the fact any popular room will witness many uber people flooding the room advertising which is a tad annoying, after kicking and they still keep coming back. I heard they were removed because of things that were put on the radio, which was racist. You may accuse me of saying im jealous of ThinkHabbo but personally i really am not, just any old radio the fact its popular doesn't have much to do with it, specially being popular for the wrong reasons. Habbohut was one of the most popular radios, Habboxradio then was one of the most popular radio at a time, radiohabbo then became a huge hit. Radios move on however radios can be known for good and bad reasons. And i can say radioHabbo, HabboHut & Habboxradio were known for good reasons!

If ThinkHabbo did value its visitors, it would give them a reasonable explanation as to why they "asked to be removed from the Official Fansite list". Of course, I doubt the Habbo Staff would cover your backs. If they were asked "were ThinkHabbo removed because they broke the Fansite way?", they would not lie about it. I can tell you that in the past when Callie was still the Hotel Manager, our site got a warning for all of the listeners flooding so we sent out repetetive messages to our DJ's asking the listeners to not flood rooms however it isnt possible to control the listeners. As for people saying the listeners are only about 10 years old, SO WHAT? So people hate Thinkhabbo because the listeners are you. Pathetic or what?

I dont see why there is all of these battles like this, its Habbo, a virtual chat room for god sake! People create fansites and all they do is battle each other. Its rather pointless.

Finally, people are cheering saying Thinkhabbo is gone? It is going nowhere and will still remain to probably the most popular Radio Fansite. If you dont like it, dont go on the site and dont tune in. Simple. :)

ThinkHabbo will not be the most popular radio fansite. Never was, period. HabboHut has always been more successful than it, and will continue to be. The quality of the DJs is far greater, along with the reliability. You will always get a bad egg, but other Official Radio Fansites have more consistency over the reliability when compared to ThinkHabbo.

If you read what I typed, I didn't complain about the site getting a young audience. What I did say was that is attracts young, less mature Habbos, which quickly mature and move onto a more professional fansite. Usuallt with the more mature Habbos, you can control what the majority of them do, so if you had problems with your target audience, then change your target audience?

As for the spelling error; I go back to the professional issue. Professional sites are checked and double checked. Errors slip through, of course. Errors on a banner though, which you have got to see on every page, is not acceptable for a "professional" site.

Edit: Mr Rareiod, I have nothing wrong with their listeners. If you are offended by anything I've said, then I apologise, but it was not with the intent of offending the listeners. Repeating the "everyone's jealous" argument is tiresome. Throughout this thread I've posted a multitude of reasons for disliking ThinkHabbo as a site. Dj_dude007, do you still uphold the "we asked to be removed", by the way?

(The original HabboxRadio was hugely popular, but even that had to come to end. Fortunately, that went out with a bang, whereas ThinkHabbo would prefer to be dragged... but that's got nothing to do with me, so good luck. ^_^)

ThinkHabbo will not be the most popular radio fansite. Never was, period. HabboHut has always been more successful than it, and will continue to be. The quality of the DJs is far greater.

Now I work for HabboHut but I'm telling you now, ThinkHabbo is far more popular currently. Take for example last night. ThinkHabbo had 250 listeners +... HabboHut was off air.

Neither do Thinkhabbo? The listeners do what they chose to. Nobody has full control over them. Also there wouldnt be enough listeners on HabboHut to flood a room.

Most of you just cant live up to the fact that Thinkhabbo is probably the most popular Radio Fansite. Then ClubHabbo as much as I dislike the site is probably the second most popular.

Marc is right. Their DJs are of a far better quality in general. Quantity of listeners is a bad way to scale things. Dj, I have not even once in any of my posts suggested I know something you don't. I just wondered why a self-acclaimed popular fansite would withdraw its Official status without giving substantial information to its "valuable" listeners. Would the Habbo Staff be able to support this statement? If so; then that's all nice and dandy.

Fair point, just when it comes to Thinkhabbo its AdvertTV. Which Marks and Spencers do not do. Thinkhabbo just take advantage of publicity. One of the reasons they got removed is probably provoking flooding within the hotel.

The reason Clubhabbo may of won that recent poll was due to the fact that Thinkhabbo never made a big thing about it asking for people to vote them like Clubhabbo did. They didn't get removed..? They asked for their status to be removed. Unless someone posts substantial evidence they got removed, then we shouldn't believe they did.

Anyway, they don't 'provoke' flooding. They ask listeners to tell their mates to listen in. But they can't keep control of 400 listeners? I'd like to see one of you lot try and control the actions of 400 people at one time.

We dont know that for certain though, management might say that they asked to be removed but yet they wont say why they asked to be removed. Everyone lies from time to time. Im not accusing any of the Thinkhabbo staff of lieing just it seems fishy to say that they wont discuss it...Im not saying "please tell us now whats the truth about being removed" but itd be nice to know.

Okay reading the last few pages got me quite frustrated, your saying that because i commented i am jealous? Like i said before i have no need to be jealous of a fansite, because if i wanted to run a fansite i would. Your saying people who commented about thinkhabbo are classed as "no-hopers?" Personally i feel that comment was rather harsh as im quite open minded to alot of things.

One i said thinkhabbo is a rather nice design i feel that the ways its managed isn't so good, think of it like this habboxradio, habbohut & radioHabbo have all been the biggest and most popular radios before NOT NOW, im saying before but did we have the same issue with flooders with there sites? I think not i never had to kick tons and tons of people over an over again for flooding sites like radioHabbo.

Like i said i heard a close friend of mine made a complaint to staff about thinkhabbo (with evidence) and then suddenly they are taken off the list, to be honest i dought they would admit them being removed, but if they asked to be removed i will take the word for it. But dont accuse people of having an opinion on the site, its the classic someone has a bad opinion of something online and they are accused of jealousy? Rareoid i think your post was immature, it just shows how some of the thinkhabbo supporters react i wouldn't say its mature at all. Jemmwah i know you wish to stand up for a website you belong to, thats fine and i agree with that. However i feel your post is slightly incorrect you accuse us of being jealous yet i did state i am not jealous an gave reasons for disliking ThinkHabbo, you mention you cant work out why people dont like the site, yet its perfectly stated throughout the thread, how it encourages listeners to flood rooms, cause trouble and all it's about is getting listeners. You say you also know for a fact ThinkHabbo asked to be removed, yet i also know for a fact there was a specific complaint made towards the website, with evidence of the site breaking the rules of the Fansite way.

I Know about that situation. And i can also say thats half the reason ThinkHabbo gave up. because Fansites liek that were acusing Nkay. of doing what ever saying they had IPs Ect. when actully someone could quite easyly plant an IP Anyway. and i've read the thread thank you very much and ive seen your reasons. Firstly, most of the threads are deleted or on other sites. and if you look at most of the nice psts you'll find abuse from someone in them

To busy stressing over thinkhabbo? Exscuse me but i would notice if someone or many people decide to come in my room and flood about a specific fansite, i have listened to the radio before and have noticed that DJ's have encouraged advertising in "popular rooms" and that is why i think many people dislike the site. Im sure i would notice if people started flooding my room with HabboHut etc. The reason it was posted about is because its a piece of news and rumours and people like to have there opinion said etc.

And hey, we didnt say anything about wanting Thinkhabbo removed from the officials list, we were just disappointed that they were on it since there are alot of decent sites out there, better than Thinkhabbo in many ways. Thinkhabbo just think that everyone hates them and spreads rumours about them, as you said, because they has loads of listeners.

Wowzers, nice reply Dan. And yeah, I agree with everything you said there. Generalisations are made, but do not reflect every individual. ThinkHabbo has indeed had some quality DJs, but it's the negative aspects of the site that stick out like a sore thumb which is what gets people going.

But, to anyone from ThinkHabbo (or anywhere for that matter) that hates seeing people spreading rumours about them, then keep away from this forum. ;) News and Rumours allows rumours aswell, y'know? :P It's not a "pathetic thread", it's a typical forum thread. Someone posted a statement, and other people are speculating. In a News and Rumours, you are allowed to post rumours and speculation. Please don't say anything along the lines of "I don't want to read any more pathetic rumours", because you don't have to. You only have to close your browser window and never visit this thread again. Problem solved?

ThinkHabbo is not expected to explain why it withdrew itself, but in doing so leaves itself open to rumours and speculation, which leaves ThinkHabbo with no right to say "you can't post any rumours like that!" The human mind is inquisitive, and if the answers aren't provided, people will seek them out. If ThinkHabbo chooses not to reveal its reasons (which I respect, and will understand), then people can think what they want, and ThinkHabbo are in no position to argue.

People don't have to "keep noses out of ThinkHabbo's business", because they are a public fansite. If they don't want people talking about the site, make it a private site - end of. Habbox went through scrutiny and insults, but they didn't have kiddy tantrums over it.

Finally, I just want to clear something Pyroka said. (Nice posts by the way.) "We only spread rumours because some of those rumours are true." Rumours are not fact. With rumours, it is unsure whether they are true or not. You will agree with some rumours, and disagree with others. If the only rumours posted were true, they would be facts, and classed as news. The truth of a rumour can be debatable, so I reiterate: if you don't like reading rumours about ThinkHabbo, then stop reading them, or try to clear them up. Do not go in a child's tantrum, point fingers and/or say people are jealous.

Accusations don't make me a happy bunny, and I'm on edge enough as it is.
