Practice Your Pixels [ Desert Island Tasks ] *New Tasks*

Righty, Spent the last couple of hours whipping this up :)

You just crashed your boat into a desert island, and have managed to scavenge everything you could from the boat. Its not much, but its all you could do. We'd like to see your person and shelter first. If there are enough entries I can continue giving you more tasks each time more devious than the last!

Your user and pet must fit in here (he/she must look like he's been in a boat crash):

Once you've done that. You have the task of building a shelter of the scarce remains you managed to save. Here is a list of what you have :

The rectangular box's are canvas material (flexible)

And here is the island you are dealing with :

Once you've built your shelter, add a fire and your character and pet into the scene.

And remember, you can cut the tree's down to use as logs, but you must remove the trees from your final image. You can also peel the bark into rope ;]

You see a faint light in the distance which appears to be a small tourist plane. You only have a few minutes before it goe's out of distance!
With the materials you have left, create a 'call for help' SOS sign. Good luck!

Task 4:

The plane failed to see your sign. By chance, you see a boat in the far distance, he see's your SOS, and turns towards you. Unfortunately, it explodes on route to your island. The crew and captain have died, and the main current grabs the boat and pulls it futher away from you, and out of view. But somehow some of the ships objects got caught in a second current, and lands ashore your island. You will need to catch fish soon as you are hungry, but if you go into the water unprotected (clothes wise) you'll be eaten alive.

You have:

2 Big Rubber squares
1 Mysterious laminated paper ( to small to read )
1 Broken glass
3 Raw fish
1 Broken magnifying glass
1 Pot of super glue

Task 5:

You have managed to work out that you can glue the broken glass back together and replace the len. Now, you can read the blue piece of paper it reads : Be carefull where you stay, I suggest you leave. You have 10 hours

With the threat, you must take action. Pack up your shelter, or dismantle it and built a boat, or make a transport for your boat out of remaining materials. And hurry, make sure you have some rubber clothes before you put your boat anywhere near the water. And then, await your next task.

I still don't understand how I crashed - IM A CAPTAIN! Any polar bears on this island are going to get so owned.
Supplies remaining:
None of those sheets of metal, 6 planks of wood and those 3 things (Are they nails?), and axe head used for greataxe, axe handle is on beach

There's a problem I found with the story.
How can a boat crash and cause someone to be injured/ripped clothes in the middle of sea?
Did it crash into a wave?
If so the person wouldn't have sustained so much damage and Im not sure if there would be wood and metal sheets on a boat..
I prefer to beleive I was flying a sea plane that had engine trouble, ditched causing the the skiis to break and because of problems a fire caught and reached the fuel tank causing an explosion. I quickly grabbed my axe and pet and cut my way out of my sinking plane and swam to shore.
I went back to my plans and salvaged some wood that I found from the interior and metal sheets from the wings and body.
But anyway its your story :)
Im pretty curious as to what Ill have to eat.. Maybe some lamb cutlets :)
Im also curious as to what the next challenge is and I have already thought of plans to build a raft using my dream mansion :P
Keep playing guys - If your finding it hard to use the land because of the way mr.parasols texturised it Im sure it wont matter if there are a few errors with shadows and stuff. Get creative!

Your not playing the game/doing the tasks properly
Your meant to design your own chracter and your own pet and follow the tasks not go your completely own way.
You might need a means of escape later but not now.

Weapon
My Habbo made 2 weapons out of one tree and that's why they are so thin. The weapon can help me get food (fish) or to kill any enemy that comes.

Fire
The fire was made with sticks he found on the ground and tree trunks.

Shelter
The shelter was made with:
- 3 Canvas Material
- 10 Wood Planks
- 6 Short Tree Trunks

Weapon: My weapon is a Dagger.. Its better because its smaller, you can cut things down of trees with it, and it hurts if u stabb somone with it.

How i made the Weapon: i took off the wood from the axe put it on a reverse end and i sharpend the other part... ;]

u use it like a 2sided weapon u block with say 1 side then straight away attack with the other.... or jus continuously attack with both ends

Both tasks done, i made some rope using some bark and tied it around the tree to use as a washing line or something, theres a spear dug in the ground as a weapon to use for hunting and self defence, used the tree i cut down for spear and cut it up for the fire, used the yukka leaves at the back of my shelter

This is my great axe.
It is long to reach tall or far away enemies, fairly large to provide a greater slicing action when cutting trees our attacking and has a sharp axe head near it's top for combat.
To make this weapon I cut down a thin tree, cut out markings for the axe and using another sharp end of my axe I was able to jerk the axe head in there.
I can also use the axe handle as it has been sharped as a weapon.
Alterate I think you used too many planks unless you divided them in half..

Task 4:

The plane failed to see your sign. By chance, you see a boat in the far distance, he see's your SOS, and turns towards you. Unfortunately, it explodes on route to your island. The crew and captain have died, and the main current grabs the boat and pulls it futher away from you, and out of view. But somehow some of the ships objects got caught in a second current, and lands ashore your island. You will need to catch fish soon as you are hungry, but if you go into the water unprotected (clothes wise) you'll be eaten alive.

Okay.. I packed up all my stuff and build a small boat/raft.. I also made some wood boards from the trees and made a table for all my stuff with it. I used all the rubber I had to make myself shoes and a shirt, but my pants are still ripped and unprotected (Hope nothing bad happens).

Ok this is getting way too far out of hand.
Many of you have extremely high egos (Wont mention any names will we?) and are taking this as more of a battle than a fun task where you can practise your skills and get creative and see how others can too.
Simon/siz you should obviously be disqualified since you can't follow tasks.
You used way too much wood, you dont have money, you dont have tribesman, you dont have metal sheets (You cant manufacture metal on a deserted island "/)
If many of you were able to get on well without blindly critisizing someones work (Not contructively) and followed the tasks this would be a good fun. But since there are people like siz who can't follow the rules and tasks and people who I wont mention who try and put other's down and unconstructively pick at people this won't work.
So seriously if you don't have the sence to work in an environment like this leave now and do not participate in any further tasks.
