When you shout I believe the font shouldn't be styled in bold. It would be better if it was just Volter (like it is when you use 'say') but everybody could see what your saying no matter where they are located in the room.

And don't say 'V10 Has this' because that's not true. Habbo China only has it because the bold version of their language (all the strange characters) would make it look weird and hard to read.

But when you shout everyone can see what you say anyways no matter where they are right?

Yeah. But my point is that it would be better if it didn't become bold when you shout because it looks ugly and laim.

Not all the time. Sometimes it is easier on the eyes to read it in BOLD then regular.

I think it's would be pretty pointless to change the font just for aesthetic reasons. "/

It looks so much neater though.

Well, as I said before, it doesn't make much sense to change the appearance of something just so it'll look prettier and be less effective.

The reason the shout mode has a bold font is to grab other user's attention. If all the font was normal, not very many people would pay attention to messages being sent by people. On the other hand, when someone on Habbo shouts a message, it stands out from the others because it is in bold while the other messages 'fade out' or dont show at all.

Habbos over use the SHOUT tool when they don't even need to. Every graphics designer wants to make theitr graphic or in this case game look the best as possible. Appearance does matter.

I'm not sure if you've noticed or not, but Habbo Hotel is based on isometric graphics. "/

I'm sure if the graphic designers for Habbo wanted to make it look graphically and visually impressive, they would have done so.

The graphics aren't isometric, their 2d. This is my idea and opinion.

They're isometric. And once again, if you havent noticed, everything on the Internet is 2 Dimensional.

They aren't isometric at all. Like you say, everything on the internet is 2d. Habbo is 2d.

What I was pointing out was..

Nothing on the Internet is able to manifest itself into a 3 Dimensional form.

Therefore, everything has to be 2D, HOWEVER, the style in which Habbo was made is ISOMETRIC.

THIS IS WHAT ISOMETRY LOOKS LIKE. (http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial_s&q=isometric&btnG=Search)

Your idea failed and so did your logic. Have a nice day.

I don't think the SHOUT should be changed for anything. And even though some Habbos use it when they don't need to, imagine, if everything that was said appeared on screen in the same boorring font, most would simply get bored and not read what you had to say. And others would get confused trying to differentiate whether you were meant to SAY or SHOUT that.

I've changed my mind now. I'd actually prefer it to be as it is ;p.
