Funny, but not as funny as someone who actually worked in WWE calling them "lights out" matches.

When the shows stop broadcasting, most of the times there is a bonus dark match, the announcer wishes the fans well and says thanks for coming, we'll be back soon, etc, and that's it. The wrestlers just walk to the back like they would if they were still on TV. Can't break character in front of the live audience just because TV has ended.

On topic: It's not fake, its scripted. The results are scripted, the storylines are, the fueds. However, the actual moves they do are real, and they are actually hitting each other, and doing the wrestling moves to each other and the injurys are also real. So it isn't entirely fake.

Punches aren't full force, unless you stiff people like Bradshaw, but they do beat the hell out of each other, night after night. The toll on their bodies is unbelievable, that's why many have gotten into problems with painkiller addiction, etc. No job is more physical than the life of professional wrestler. The mat is wooden planks with canvas and a set of springs, it really doesn't have much give you know. I'd like to see you on the receiving end of a knife edge chop. And, although I'm not the biggest fan of it, what about hardcore wrestling? I've seen a man's bicep torn wide open with a pair of scissors in a match. Before you draw such opinions, you should look into what you are actually trying to say, because unless you do so, you come across as ignorant. A good opinion is formed through being based on something. What I have said is fact.

Go on YouTube. Some of the best matches in professional wrestling history featured Misawa. Check out his battles with Kenta Kobashi, Jun Akiyama and Toshiaki Kawada especially. Insanely brutal matches. The Japanese style is very different to the American that you see in WWE, they will literally just beat each other to a pulp, relent on absolutely nothing.

The WWE creative team had discussions about Edge and turning him babyface before he got injured last week. Sources report that the turn was a long-term plan and was not something that was on the verge of happening. The turn was still in the discussion stage so plans could have changed. One possible scenario saw Edge to start to turn around the Royal Rumble 2010 pay-per-view and enter WrestleMania 26 as a full fledged face. No word yet if WWE will start the turn once he returns from injury.

TNA's creative team are a lot worse. As I always say, TNA died in 2005, if people weren't along for the ride from '02-'05, that's unfortunate. The TNA of today is almost a different company. It absolutely pales in comparison.

They push the wrong people in my eyes. Why the hell did they put the strap on Foley? The worst decision Sting's ever made in his career was joining TNA. They misuse their talent, seriously. They bury the X-Divsion - the youth who single-handedly built TNA - under WWE has beens, it makes me sick. I loved TNA from 2002-2005, but since then, it's just been like a dying WCW in the last moments of the '90s. TNA said that they were wrestling and were to avoid the Hollywood-esque antics of the WWE, but they've gone further into the realm of the rediculous in the last couple years than WWE ever has. Talk about hypocritical. But no, I'm not going to goad you for being a TNA fan, lol.
