Drumming

I've been playing drums for only a short while, but I just recently got a drum set and since it's been a while since I've last played I was just wondering if anyone new of some easy songs that I could play just to sort of help me get back into it. Please don't reccomend anything too hard, but just some fun easy rhythms. Anything will help, thanks.

Would agree with craig, When i started with eletric guitar and drums i just went on the internet and searched for like beginners tabs etc just to get started and then progressed onwards, But it also depends on your ability

Hmm... Im not a drummer but a fair bit of nickelback songs would be pretty easy for beginners. Also 3 doors down are pretty easy also.

Im judging this by listining to the songs. Also i play guitar and the 3 doors down songs are really easy and by listining to the drumming n all it seams pretty easy to play.

Blink songs. Some 80's stuff would be easy.
You can adapt alot of songs to fit your style.
Dont play drums personally though...

I've been practicing the song white lights by rufio well just the beginning it's pretty easy, and I've been listening to music while I play and finding easy rhythms, thanks for all suggestions though, I'll definetly look into those.

O yes, As you said listenig to music whilst playing helps as you get to hear rhytmens etc

Yeah learning Travis Barker's stuff would be well easy wouldn't it, it's not like he's been playing drums since he was 6, so I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard.

Ive been playing drums for 5 years now and can learn to play a song just by listening to it once. When I started I took lessons on a weekly basis for about 5 weeks. This just helped me learn the very basics of drumming and since then I was able to build on those skills and pass my grade 5 rock school exam.
Its slow learning at first but you eventually get the hang of it!

I have a friend at school in a band who really is the best. He might lend you some sheets for free. He has a friend with an afro who is so cool! :D
