I have experimented with swat team alts I made trying to make them a little better, trying to experiment with my skills so I can design better. I used different shading and line techniques to do the faces (Didn't on the uniforms because it wouldnt be very visible.
The first two guys are how I would have normally done it.
The second two have different shading and I've experimented with the eyes to make them a bit more realistic.
The third group have had some black lines removed and replaced with darker lines. This kind of adds a 3d effect.

Personal Comment:
I think I like the middle two guys better. But I'd rather know your thoughts. I think the last twos' design kind of.. looks a bit odd but also looks kind of cool except the nose (Maybe i should have used a darker line color?). I wonder if you think they look realistic (well realish). You may be able to notice a few differences from full view but zooming may help.

I was going to make a small room alt using these basing it on a scene from a game fighting terroists (Called Swat) but it may be controversial and distressing because of the current days we are going through especially for the people in the uk and I'd like your opnions on the designs first.

I think the middle two are better.
The last two, the lines outlining the jaw and nsoe aren't dark enough. I fyou were going to really make it realistic, you should scratch the jaw line and draw a real once based on human features, no one has a circular jaw, they're more straight. I'd like to see you experiment with making your own jaw lines.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing your finish project.

Yes I see that because of the close colors combining.

It's a tad difficult to draw an iso gun. Many artist have trouble getting it away from a thin odd looking strip.

I think Ill try a few more alts using the second method.

I really can't see anything different between them, everyone is saying the second set, so i'll go with that.


Second set, the gun looks okay just maybe put the gun extended underneath his hand, otherwise thats one small gun ;d.

The gun needs alot of work on, it's just flat with no shape what so ever. Make a 'logo' more bigger and try to change things so they're not just from Habbo, but rather made your self. Shoes, hair etc...

I like the Mic though.

And they are almost like exactly the same with minor changes which could take like a minutes to do.

Dude, deal with the fact that I criticised your work as a whole. You should take what I said into acount, not just blow it back and think "I'm perfect and he's just commented on the wrong thing".

An opinion isn't an opinion unless it's stated, and it was eventually stated on your 'heads' as you so put it. The changes which you say are minor and small. So I commented on it as a whole.

Get over your self and deal with it.

If I wanted the alt rated as a whole I would have shaded it properly "/

1. Why are they holding a piece of paper?
2. Needs alot more shading, you can hardly see the pockets on the vest.
3. The eyes are blury on the ones circled.

Its good apart from what everyone saying is that gun, its not that hard to do an iso gun , the way youve got it , makes it look like a noob alt. But never the less , its good

This was really an alt and experiment that only experienced people should comment on since they would know the differences and the effects in each.
