I am sure the dentist told you this... But here goes regardless:
Leave it a couple of days, it does hurt I know; you just have to cope. If it still hurts after a couple of days, then make an appointment with your dentist and let them make a decision ;D

With my traintracks it took about a week before it all settled and i could eat any solids, i ate math tattys and soup for the first week then ate boiled eggs and stuff for the seconds week and i was fine then.
Just feel luck you aint had your tongue pierced ;) :P took like 4 weeks for that to stop hurting with me, iby the end of the 4 weeks id lost atleast 2 stone =P

Good luck with le healing processness :)

When I had mine, almost every time the wires got put on/changed there was some sticking out, which wasn't much fun for my gums. I actually got sort of callouses on the inside of my cheeks where I'd been "stabbed" by the loose ends for so long, but in the short term, get some dental wax and put it over any sharp bits. Your teeth will feel painful and possibly wobbly for quite a while also, this is because of the brace pulling at them to get them where they should be. In my own experience, braces are no fun at all, but you'll know they were worth it when they come off.

Definetely worth it

A few days and the pain will go, just wait till you have them taken off! That is seriously weird! I hate my things.. I got them after braces and I have to put them in each night

My minds gone blank and I can't remember the name OMG!

That must suck, I had a retainer defintly better because they can be removed easy when ever you want them to be off. I had it for like 40days that's it. My dentist said my teeth move like rubber.

I've never had braces before but like all things you've just got to get used to it after a while and you'll completely forget about it.

I was like that when I got braces

Most of my friends told me it would only last one day, And after 3 days I still had pains in my teeth, And I was thinking to myself that it would never stop hurting, But after about 5 days it felt like they werent there at all.
It helps if you take a paracetamol [Sp?] If it really hurts.

& you probably won't have to have them for 3 years, My orthadentist told me that, And I only had them on for 6 months, And now my teeth are straightt ;D
