Why do people come on this forum before they go to school or even sit on it all night?? Ok thats not my point... but why are people so sad to sit for hours on this forum? I meen whats happening to teenage life? It's turning into pixels... Basically I'm trying to point out thats there more to live than a computer!

I used to be out alot, but now I have come to the age where wandering the streets is mind numbingly boring. I much prefer to play Xbox Live or my PC, I go out most saturday nights for a drink with mates, so I do socialise aswell.

Yeah I'd rather be on here than wondering the streets but I find better things to do ! I'm not trying to flame anyone or make them feel bad by the way.

Compared to what I used to do, like 50 - 100 posts a day, I do like 10 or less and I don't come on as much.

The reason I come here is because it's the only ecent forum (Yes, it may be Habbo) I know. Meh. And it'ts some relief from playign my RPG's.
I don't watch TV any more. Only when something I really want to see is on. Other than that, I'm either on the computer or out with friends. I spend alot of time on the computer but mainly people do because they enjoy it.

my schedule during the summer is (without details)
wake up.
get on computer till around 10.
eat&go outside till 3.
computer till 4.
eat and go outside till 8.
computer till 2 am.

Just because he is pretty computer orientated doesn't mean he doesn't have a life? Just because he's gonna be one of the rich kids in a few years from his web design skills, because lets face it we all spend lots of time doing something we'd love to do as a career. I mean instead of him going out and playing football wanting to be a footballer he chooses to learn web design and become a web designer. I see nothing stupid or moronic about that and it's rather smart for a younger teenager to be honest. Yeah he spends alot of the time on the computer but heck if it's something that's gonna earn him alot of money - why not?


Anyway I used to be on this forum way too much and even now am on it more than I probably should be. I now only spend say 2 hours at maximum on this forum,sometimes about 30 minutes. We all go through a stage in life where your addicted to something technological or a hobby and to be honest mine has moved on from computing and on to my real passion. Some people find it hard to get out due to many reasons. One of these is bullying and if they're gonna get bullied when they go out - why bother when they can make friends online that aren't gonna mock them? Also it passes time, heck if I'm really bored and there is absolutely nothing else to do I'll usually switch the computer on and mainly chat to friends on Messenger, but when waiting for a response or a lack of talking I'll browse on here.

Aslong as people know what they're doing and aslong as they want to do it then it's fine.

I don't play Habbo anymore and when I'm not at school I usually watch a bit of TV then I'm out at night with my friends. If I'm not out with my friends at night I do some studying (unless it's holidays like now xD) where I would just see my girlfriend.

I basically only come online when I'm not out or at school. I think real life is much more important and comes first. :]

And I'll admit I don't have a very big social life but It doesn't bother me, I'm not one for parties and getting drunk for the sake of it. I don't spend much time on this forum, but sometimes I am on the pc a lil too long. After being addicted to the internet for a few years, I'm trying to limit my time and cut back a lil because it's becoming really boring. Yeah, I do have a social life, but there's only one friend that lives by me, and shes busy mon-thurs so its usually only fri nights/weekends that I see her out of school. My other friends live on the other side of town, I can't drive so I use msn to chat to them.

I don't find it sad if people are on the internet 24/7, because at the end of the day it's their choice.
