people are scared the "Popular" kids

I am very popular and i noticed that alot of kids r scared of me. When we walk down the hallway u always see 1 or 2 kids like back away.. we do not hurt anybody. I think the reason is that we play around with eachother by punching, pushing and just being rough with our goup. Does anybody have any advice on how to make them now be so scared?

Just see if you can talk to them. If they know you enough personally, they will know your safe and decent person :)

I think it's just one of those things... Younger children are classically scared of the older ones, particularly if you are just generally boisterous! I think it would be a good idea to just show you aren't going to bite them, talk to em and stuff :D

Well you could start of small but just giving them a smile,not a 'I want to get in your pants' smile, just a friendly smile. And then after lessons or during lessons if you see any of the 'scared' kids then just ask them how they are and chat generally.

Personally from our school in our year pretty much everyone is popular with everyone,apart from those that are idiots or enemies with lots of people.

Just give them a little nod as said in the above posts, when i go out with m8s and you can tell kids are scared just nod at them and maybe say summin like sup that will then relax them a little bit. Then next time they see you they will probably nod to you :P

Alot of little kids do get intimidated but I suppose when we were little we were like that. Just be generally nice or say hi. If they drop something pick it up.
