hey, i was messing about with mapping for Doom [thanks to EDGE, doombuilder and codeimp] i was able to produce this:
note images may take a while to load, sorry =P
http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1093/hab10wh.png (http://imageshack.us)
http://img463.imageshack.us/img463/4031/hab23yt.png (http://imageshack.us)
http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/4757/hab38zb.png (http://imageshack.us)
http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/3749/hab40ye.png (http://imageshack.us)

its my first map, so its a bit crud lol
i also added some cheap beta furniture in there to give a general idea
iam thinkin of recreating all public rooms and some popular private rooms of my time and now
HPD, Dahoodas, Exavior's private hell, pink minx , newsbox, think help etc
im also thinkin about putting some habbos in as well, il make a game
your a hobba you have to go around protecting people
from memory hackers, scripters, keyloggers etc XD
if any one can help me rip habbo character sprites that be great [habbo character and all its movements from diffrent point of views!] i'm sorry for big images :[
also i havent added windows because its in early stages, the windows will look out
to habbo maze etc, front garden basicly

The tiles dont fit the room, putting random 2d habbo stuff ruins it, and without that, it's a simple 3d space! I'll give it a 3.

How would you create a game if it's just a 3d picture?

Its pretty good, the tiles arn't fitted properly... If you know what I'm saying. Putting in the 2D habbos / furni ruin them.

I'm not going to rate because i dont know how hard it is to make 3D stuff cause' i havn't done it before.

oh i dont worry about the 2D mush lol
i just put that there to see sizes, and testing
ive made a 3d ph block, mod bar
and now making doggie bones XD
another thing, the tiles were ok when its somthing to do with overlapped floors
il fix that :P

thats what the map is based on, window soon, it wont just be a texture of the window
it will be actual 3D glass, over looking habbo front view, =]

heres just a 2D example of what the window would be like [the light blue indicates transparentcy, so you would be able to over look out site, but its only 2d, the fully finished window would have 3D window cill etc]

Non of them look good, don't combine 3D mapping with 2D images from habbo... it just doesn't work at all.
