Yeah, I'm really, REALLY shortsighted. Really. I can't see more than five inches in front of my nose. I wear glasses or contacts basically all the time (well, except when sleeping and showering... though I do have prescription goggles I wear when I swim).

I have glasses, just to see the board in school though. It's not always coz maybe you sit infront of the pc or TV all day, my dad has glasses and so do me and my sister. Can't it get passed down from gene to gene?

It's not as if your there forever, people actually move on and get themselves jobs. Do they care then if they are popular? Do they even get jobs? Mm, I just watched a programme on Telly about 30mins ago - Truant Mum. Let her kid off school whenever she wanted, half the time she didn't even know where she was. I wear glasses indoors, and contacts out, mainly for vanity/confidence. Kids at school can be cruel, but keep wearing braces or go get contacts, and you will have the last laugh. I'm getting my eyes lasered pretty soon I hope...

I SHOULD wear glasses, I can never read the board at school, but I don't.
Some reason I have never got round to going to the optitions. I'm not complaining, it's no hardship to get up and walk a few foot forward (I also sit at the back 'cause I'm a rebel, haha)

But back in '66 my friend didn't wear glasses but he went to the optition (speeling?!) and needed glasses. If he takes them off he looks wierd even though he didn't look wierd back in '66.

Yeah Me too...but i...ugh dont wear Half glasses Half goggles....Uh i just swim in what i can see. I can still see liek if something is coming toward me in the water but i cant see exact clearly to see what or who it is. I hate GLASSES but i wear them all the time because I like to see clearly. And i got bad vision because im on the computer for about 4-5 hours a day. :p
