Hi i am running cast control at www.ironcat.nhosting.net/cast/root and my shoutcasts keep going down so i need to start them again does anyone know how to fix this.

If you can help you can have a shoutcast off me for free.

You have problems in the severs apache config etc but because its a shared host you kind of cant do nothing about it.. lol

But if your host now and are allowing you to host shoutcast servers then tell them they need to do the following if they want to help you fix it :)

They need to install PHPsuexec and that will stop shoutcasts from using apache to run. If it doesnt work i dont know what to do.. I suggest trying there support forums.

Hi,

excuse nicks outburst, but cast control doesn't work to well with the server we own and operate. we are not currently sure why and ask all clients not to install it there shared or reseller hosting.
The effect it has on the server can range from nothing to a full system crash, if this has been installed for the last couple days it could be responsible for over 24 hours of downtime

I will personally speak with nick to resolve this suspension to a warning.

There is a fair usage policity when you purchase the hosting, If your hogging up all the bandwidth this won't be acceptable and your account could be limited.

Run a Cron-Job to a directory I forgot it's name. Make sure it runs every 1 minute.

Nick you are so un professional. You use a forum that is unrelated to nhosting to communicate with your clients. Also you are so abusive to your clients. I would never buy hosting off you!
