There's a lot of good ones, I have no idea who is the best. But I know these guys are good:
Tim Armstrong
Brody Dalle
Jimi Hendrix
Slash
Tom Delonge

No offense but Tom Delonge is not a good guitarist atall. His riffs are repetitive and boring (especially for Blink) and he doesn't experiment in solo's or anything.
Anyway, mine is either:
Tom Morello
Claudio Sanchez (Coheed and Cambria) just because i love his Welcome Home solo
Jimi Hendrix (obviously, anyone who can play with their teeth deserves to be here)
Herman Li (Dragonforce) listen to him and it will blow your head off, seriously.

slash, and you can hardly say tom delonge is one of the best. Hendrix and tom morello are awesome too, and also herman from dragonforce.

Tom Morello had some pretty good riffs aswell.
Dimebag Darrell. How can you forget him? Definately one of the best guitarists.

It's impossible to be more original than Tom Morello (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vdC9Lph3AGw&search=tom%20morello)

Sure it was original, but it sounded horrible and overall its not that hard to put on an effect and take the jack to it

He has better, definatly. That one just showed his originallity, not really his ability. To me his guitar work is a protest to all the talented yet unoriginal players out there. Go on youtube and look up some of the guitar solos. Sure, many of them are very good and the people are very talented, but they all sound the same. I'd never see myself listening to any of them. At least Morello keeps it interesting

Wth is he doing?
Exactly. He has another amp hooked up to that chord. I just love how he finds random ways to make a guitar not sound like a guitar.
